THERE IS A NEED FOR ENHANCED COLLABORATION WITH THE ARIN TO EMBRACE RESEARCH – DG DICON

The Director General (DG), Defence Industries Corporation of Nigeria (DICON), Maj Gen Aniedi Edet has reiterated the commitment of the Corporation to continue to collaborate with the Association of Researcher and Investors Network (ARIN). He stated this when the President General ARIN,  Engr Dr. OI Ogunwede, and his entourage paid him a courtesy visit at the Headquarters DICON on Wednesday 4 October 2023. In his words “ there is a need for enhanced collaboration in the areas of sensitizing organizations and encouraging youths to embrace research and bring theory to the industry”.

Speaking during the visit, the President General ARIN, thanked the DG DICON for the warm reception accorded him and his team. He commended the DG for the swift developments going on in the Corporation. He stated specifically that the visit aimed to close the gap between research and industries and/or institutions as well as get members to be part of ARIN.

Highlights of the event were the presentation of the ARIN registration form to the DG, the exchange of souvenirs, the signing of visitors’ book, and a group photograph.
