The National Defence College’s Course 33 participants paid a courtesy visit to the Defence Industries Corporation of Nigeria (DICON). The team was led by Brigadier General KU Sidi, the Director of Coordination at the National Defence College Abuja. Brigadier General KU Sidi thanked DICON’s Director General, represented by Brigadier General BJ Shobo, for the warm reception.
The purpose of the visit was to explore the importance of collaboration between key defence institutions and strategic engagement to enhance the learning experience for senior officers. Course 33 focuses on strategic installations, playing a crucial role in shaping Nigeria’s national security framework.
During the visit, a presentation was given by DICON’s representative, providing participants with valuable insights into DICON’s activities. This knowledge will aid them in addressing the scope of their course. The visit concluded with a vote of thanks, signing of the visitors’ book, and a group photograph.
