DICON will soon get new machines aimed at improving its production capacity.

The Director-General of the Defence Industries Corporation of Nigeria-DICON, Major General Aniedi Edet says the Corporation will soon get new machines aimed at improving its production capacity.

The DG disclosed this during a durbar held with staff of the Corporation at the ordnance factory in Kakuri, Kaduna.

Major General Aniedi Edet explained that a weapon assemblage will soon commence, and staff productivity would be enhanced.

While speaking on the maiden DICON bulletin, the DG noted that it was aimed at bridging the communication gap, and to highlight the activities in DICON.

He equally encouraged staff to send in their contribution so as to enrich the bulletin.

Also speaking, a deputy director at the research and development bureau, Air Vice Marshal Dalhatu Ladan expressed satisfaction over the progress made so far in DICON.

Air Vice Marshal Dalhatu Ladan, who was on a courtesy call on DICON, commended the DG for the giant strides recorded under his watch, and appealed to staff to continue to accord him the necessary support and co-operation to succeed.

Air Vice Marshal Ladan also used the opportunity to launch the maiden DICON bulletin.
