DIRECTOR DEFENCE TRANSFORMATION AND INNOVATION VISITS DICON Commend efforts to revive production activities.

The Director Defence Transformation and Innovation (DDTI) Rear Admiral Abdul Majid Ibrahim on Friday, 2 August, 2024 expressed delight with ongoing efforts by the Defence Industries Corporation of Nigeria (DICON) and urged the Corporation to keep up the good work at reviving full production activities at the Ordnance Factory, Kakuri, Kaduna.

Rear Admiral Ibrahim gave this commendation during the visit by Defense Headquarters Transformation, Monitoring and Evaluation Team to DICON. While making his remarks, the DDTI appreciated the very kind and warm reception accorded him and stated that the visit is to assess and evaluate the Corporation’s activities so as to meet up with global trends of contemporary innovations and technology.

While responding, Air Commodore Emmanuel Ola the Director of Productions representing the Director General DICON appreciated the visit and attributed the progress being made to the Corporation’s 5 strategic management pillars which include; Business Oriented Mindset , Professionalism , Communication across units and departments, improved and sustained Staff Welfare as well as Building a Robust Partnership within and outside Nigeria.

The visit included briefings on DICON activities, interactive session, souvenir presentations, signing of visitors book and a memorable group photograph serving as a testament to the visit.
